This 19th October, Montibello is joining World Breast Cancer Awareness Day to contribute to raising awareness of this disease. During this month, we’ll donate 4% of the profits from the sales of the Decode Zero range to Think Pink Europe (TPE). This is how we want to offer our support for the people affected by this disease.

Breast cancer is the most common tumour among women in Europe, where around 500,000 cases are diagnosed annually. It is estimated that one in every eight women could get cancer over the course of their lifetime.

In Spain, 34,088 new breast cancer cases were diagnosed in 2020 according to the European Cancer Information Systems (ECIS) – representing 30% of cancer cases diagnosed in women.

Given that the beauty industry is predominantly female, we wanted to do our bit to help in the search for a cure while supporting the many brave women who have this disease.

Decode Zero, the pinkest range of products

This October, Decode Zero joins efforts to mobilise support for women affected by the disease, as the sales of all products comprising the range give their buyers the chance to join the fight against breast cancer. Montibello will donate 4% of the profits from this action to Think Pink Europe (TPE).

The range includes:

PURE: a hydrating water-based gel that holds and defines, designed to enhance the hair’s natural shape. Its formula contains 86% ingredients of natural origin.

PERFECT: a texturising and refreshing spray designed to give hair that natural bounce without weighing it down or getting it dirty. Its concentrated formula contains 92% ingredients of natural origin.

CURE: an intensive treatment that restores, revives and strengthens a weakened hair structure. Its three natural infused oils increase the hair’s moisture levels fivefold. Formulated with 100% natural infused oils.

COSMIC: a long-lasting anti-frizz treatment that gets rid of frizz, leaving hair soft, tamed and shiny for up to 72 hours. With 94% ingredients of natural origin.

A race for life

Think Pink Europe (TPE) was founded in 2018 by five not-for-profit organisations that have implemented important programmes against breast cancer in Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Italy and Romania.

This organisation strives to create innovative programmes that help to bridge the gaps and reduce disparities among European countries in terms of access to quality breast cancer care.

Today, more than 30 organisations form part of our community and one of the most well-known activities they promote is the Race for Life, the biggest sporting event for women’s health.
