Tobias Kuetscher will lead a new phase of growth, international expansion, and development of new opportunities in the beauty sector.<\/p>\n\n

Barcelona, September 16, 2026. Cosbar Group, a leading beauty company with a solid track record in haircare and skincare for almost 60 years, announces the addition of Tobias Kuetscher as the new Global CEO.<\/p>\n\n

His arrival marks the beginning of a new stage for the company, with a focus on strengthening its position in the beauty market and laying the foundations for a new phase of development and transformation both internationally and through new categories, channels, and business opportunities.<\/p>\n\n

This is how Tobias Kuetscher sums up his vision for this new stage: \u201cI\u2019m joining Cosbar Group with the conviction that we have extraordinarily solid foundations and a huge opportunity ahead. My goal is to accelerate the international growth of our brands, continue developing our manufacturing and private label capabilities, and explore new brands, categories, and channels that will allow us to build the company\u2019s future. And I have the privilege of doing it alongside a team with experience, talent, and immense passion for this project.\u201d<\/p>\n

A solid international track record in the beauty industry<\/h2>\n\n

Tobias Kuetscher has over 20 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, building and leading brands and businesses in professional haircare, skincare, and other beauty categories. He started his career at L\u2019Or\u00e9al Groupe, where he worked in marketing, sales, and business development, taking part in the launch and growth of Matrix in new markets and working with L\u2019Or\u00e9al Professionnel, Redken, K\u00e9rastase, and Shu Uemura. <\/p>\n\n

Later, he joined TIGI and Unilever, where he became General Manager for Europe and Asia-Pacific, leading businesses in multiple markets and working closely with professional clients, distributors, and international teams. More recently, as Chief Growth Officer at Underlining in the United States, he has helped scale beauty brands in haircare, skincare, nails, and makeup, overseeing Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Development, with a strong focus on international growth and an omnichannel approach. <\/p>\n\n

A new stage for Cosbar Group<\/h2>\n\n

The addition of Tobias Kuetscher strengthens Cosbar Group’s goal of building on its current strengths: boosting its position in Spain in haircare and skincare, its experience in the professional channel, and its R&D, manufacturing, and logistics capabilities. At the same time, the company will tackle new development opportunities. <\/p>\n\n

“For me, this new challenge brings together some of the aspects I’ve enjoyed most throughout my career: building brands, developing people, growing internationally, and transforming businesses. The foundations are solid, the ambition is high, and the opportunity is extraordinary. Enric Aliberch: a solid legacy of more than two decades<\/h2>\n\n

Kuetscher takes over from Enric Aliberch, who ends a period of more than 20 years linked to Cosbar Group, first as Brand Director and, in recent years, as CEO. During his time, he professionalized and modernized the company, diversified its different lines of business, and began the path of internationalization. <\/p>\n\n

Nowadays, the group’s brands, both in hair care \u2013 Montibello Haircare and Kevin Murphy \u2013 and in skincare \u2013 Montibello Skincare \u2013 enjoy a high level of appreciation due, among other attributes, to their constant innovation, providing the necessary differentiation to continue developing the value of the professional channel.<\/p>\n\n

After more than two decades of dedication to Cosbar Group, Enric Aliberch will continue to be connected to the company as an external advisor, supporting the transition and putting his solid experience in the industry at the service of the new stage.<\/p>\n

According to Enric Aliberch himself: \u201cIt has been more than 20 years in which I have had the privilege of leading an exciting project together with a team of excellent professionals to whom I owe having been able to overcome all the challenges that have come our way.<\/p>\n\n
